Works great to hold lashes with a thick enough line!

First of all, I want to make it clear this is LINER GLUE - an eyeliner and lash glue in one. You get a clear one and a black one. Both are liner glue. I wanted to make that clear because I saw another review that said something about only expecting the tube with white liquid to be the glue and how it was stickier than the liner. I’m not sure what tube with white liquid the reviewer is talking about. Maybe the clear pen? Maybe this product page once had another product and the review is for that, which happens sometimes. I’m not sure. I just want to make it clear that BOTH the clear and black pens are eyeliner AND glue in 1.<br /><br />They actually claim this is a 3-in-1 product - Eyeliner, lash glue, and eyelash serum. So, it claims you can use both pens as an eyeliner. You can use both pens as lash glue. And both pens are lash serums.<br /><br />It wasn’t too long ago that I found out about 2-in-1 liner and glue pens. When I first found out about them, I thought they would be a gimmick and wouldn’t work, but they do...but not always. Like with any product, some work better than others. This one works well.<br /><br />The caps - on the one hand they are on good and snug and won’t slip off, but on the other hand they are a pain to get off! You have to tug so hard that when it finally comes off you end up swiping the pen on your hand. That’s a pain! I’m hoping with time after removing the cap it’ll become looser and not so hard to remove!<br /><br />The liner works well. The black is pigmented. It’s a little runny so it can bleed/feather. It stays put well. The clear is clear so I didn’t really try it as just a liner. If you’re using it just as a liner, it has a stickiness until it dries down completely, which doesn’t take long. If I’m just going to reach for eyeliner and not use false lashes, I wouldn’t really reach for this. I have liners I prefer over this one. It works nicely as the liner with your false lashes. I just wouldn’t really recommend it if you’re not going to use it with false lashes.<br /><br />The glue part works well. If you shake it really well first, apply it immediately, apply a regular thickness line, and immediately apply your lash, the liner will hold your lashes really well and hold them all day. I say regular thickness line because with my small, hooded eyes, I tightline so my line is extremely thin. But, if you don’t tightline and do a regular line, the glue will hold well. But, if your line is too thin, the lashes will lift. If your eyes water at all, the lash will lift in that area. Luckily, you get a clear and a black one. The clear works well for me because I can do a thicker line and it dries clear so I don’t mind it! Unfortunately, the black one isn’t for me. If you like to tightline like I do, the clear will work well for you since it dries clear so it doesn’t matter if you do a thicker line than you normally would with your liner. If you do regular thickness liner, you would enjoy both the clear and the black!<br /><br />As for the lash serum part of this 3-in-1 liner, I can’t really speak to that. It says that it has castor oil in the liners so they will help with growing thicker, longer lashes. I haven’t been using this long enough where I would notice something like that. Since I tightline, I am applying it right on my lash line. But, I’m not sure it’s getting applied on the lash line enough to work well as an eyelash serum. But, it’s nice that it could help. Better than a liner that doesn’t have castor oil and definitely wouldn’t help. So, I say it can’t hurt!<br /><br />Overall, I think this is a nice lash liner glue. It works well as lash glue if you use a normal thickness line of liner. I like liner glue like these because they’re so much easier than applying lash glue, applying the lashes, and then applying an eyeliner. With a product like this, I apply it just like I would an eyeliner, and pop the lashes on top. It cuts down on the steps! For me, the clear works great since it dries clear so doing a thicker line of liner than I normally would isn’t a big deal. The black isn’t for me because I only like a tightline of liner being seen. But, if you tightline like me, the clear will work for you, and if you do normal liner, both will work for you!
